Practice Administrator – Dermatology
Established growing dermatology practice seeking a full-time administrator.
Qualified individuals should have at least 3 years of administration and/or management experience working in a medical office. The position includes directing all practice operations, including employee supervision (including overseeing hiring, termination, training, performance reviews, scheduling), revenue cycle management, human resources, provider credentialing, clinical care operations, and overall ensuring the practice is running smoothly. Additionally, for a smaller fraction of the time, at least initially, the administrator will be asked to provide back-up on the phones and help run the front-desk / reception one to two days per week.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Manage and develop a cohesive and supportive clinical support and administrative team
- Design and implement strategies to increase practice volume and referrals and drive aesthetics
- Implement and maintain office policies/procedures
- Insure and manage practice compliance and healthcare regulations
- Re-evaluate and enhance clinic workflows
- Refine and implement patient satisfaction strategies
- Coordinate and run staff meetings
- Coordinate staffing schedule
- Analyze financials and guide strategic growth opportunities
- Maintain physician credentialing and licensures including CAQH profiles
Skills and Competencies:
- MS office, MS excel; Quickbooks online
- Highly effective and supportive management style
- Knowledge of medical billing / accounting and medical terminology
- Skilled in proactively running financial models/financial reporting, benchmark analyses and guiding strategic decision-making
- Human resources management
- Takes a proactive approach to business operations
- Capability to manage and lead compliance with minimal direction

Education
- Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree required/Master’s degree preferred
